About Affirmations
Affirmations provide a safe space to allow yourself to think positively while you practice them.
There is a wealth of affirmation videos available on YouTube that you can view for free, each of which last for varying lengths. As shown above, you should practice them for at least 5 minutes per day to cross off this area of The Framework.
While practicing them, it is OK if your mind wanders. When you become conscious that your mind has wandered, firstly, pause after the current affirmation (or when safe to do so). Secondly, note down what you were thinking about so that you can come back to it later. And finally, continue with the next affirmation from where you left off.
For this reason, realisations of necessary actions become apparent in this safe, positive space. Therefore, Affirmations are an important thing to do first thing in the morning. For instance, over a hot drink or a juice, while you are fresh and forming your daily to-do list.
